On Tuesday, 18th October, “The Nurdle Project” completed our Week 3 presentation about our initial findings and ideas to a panel of academics and our undergraduate cohort.
After explaining our brief, it instantly highlighted the severity of nurdle pollution to our audience, allowing us to convey our aims and objectives to counter the problem.
To help us explain our potential solutions, research was conducted in past, large scale, nurdle spills, existing nurdle collection and separation solutions and a weighted design requirement list.
The academics and undergraduate cohort then asked questions during a 15-minute Q&A session where we answered appropriately with our knowledge.
Overall, the presentation session went successfully, allowing our group to confidently explain “The Nurdle Project” and gain valuable feedback from our audience. This feedback will be used to help push “The Nurdle Project” forward in preparation for our Week 5 elevator pitch.
