Oracle Environmental Testing Day

On the 28th of October 2022, Ellie, Jack, Niru and Sowmi went to the Oracle Testing Facility in Stockbridge, Hampshire. Here we were given the opportunity to test for quantifiable data on the Paddock cleaner, Overton Backpack Vacuum and the trommel.

Whilst testing, we were able to work with Josh Doran, an environmental consultant for Oracle and our industry contact, on how each piece of equipment worked and the flaws and issues he has recognised from usage and talking to other contacts who have used the equipment.

It was a very useful session and one which allowed us to understand the current industry standard on nurdle collection and filtration and points to bare in mind for our own designs. We look forward to doing more collection testing and moving closer to our final design.
